Star light, Star bright

Obviously, this ID is one of them. I've not updated here very much as of late because I've been working on more drawings and concepts for an online comic in regards to the characters I posted pictures of last time.
I actually have sketches and starts to drawings for all the major players in the story, however, I'm looking for an easier style, as well as an easier way to colour everything - I want things to be just right. I had a lot of fun making this new ID, and I thought that if I could work on the comic in a similar fashion, it would be pretty fun. This picture didn't actually take very long at all from start to finish, and I enjoyed it a lot. So here's hoping that this style will be something I can keep going for the comic. I've started to re-draw the cast members already in the newest new style of mine. I like to think of all of this as an exercise in style. At some point I'll settle into something that will work very well for me.

I don't want to make this an image-heavy post, so just head on over to my deviantART page to check out all the new updates. I will, however, post up some links that are somewhat important.

At some point there will be a facebook group, but I don't feel like that's really necessary at the moment. There will also be a zazzle account as well as a cafepress store for merch after I've got some more images ready to use. I want to get the style sorted out before I go into crazy composites for mugs and bags and things of that nature. That's why I'm so glad that all of this is kind of still in the planning phase!
I may work slow, but GDIT I'll get it just the way I want it at some point! I've been tweaking the comic site for a while now. I had a really FAB idea for the cast page. Right now it'll do just fine, but I had BETTER one to implement later, after I've done the art for it. I also had a great idea for the navigation links - here's hoping I can get the site set up down the way I want it before I get really into working on the pages. God I'm so fickle about that shit. I want the site to be done and functional before I start really adding major content. About the cast and the authors, and links to other comics isn't exactly what I'd call quality content, but it's a start, right?

Well, I woke up at 4am, and it's now just after 8am. I think I'm going to try to get a little more sleep since I've got a sore throat brewing (or a nasty cold, either way, blah!).
